One of the most challenging skills for anyone – management or
otherwise – is the ability to stand in front of an audience – large
or small – and make a presentation. To be able to actively engage
people and create positive connection with an audience is a learned
skill that can challenge your credibility and image! Making
presentations before a group is the #1 fear cited by most adults in
a recent survey conducted by the American Management Association.
The ability to make effective presentations are critical requirements
for most organizations. EAF is pleased to provide an intensive 7
hour interactive workshop in effective presentation skills for all
levels of employees. Being effective in organizing, preparing,
presenting, and positioning information to others need not be so
difficult!
The ability to make effective and results-oriented professional
presentations has become a more critical management skill for most
organizations during these challenging times. Nothing can have a
more immediate and sustained impact on an individual’s career and
help to create credible visibility than the ability to present like
a pro! How you construct, develop, deliver, and position your
message to any audience can mean the difference between success and
failure in your organization!
In this workshop, participants will explore multiple topics on the art
and science of effective presentations beginning with an overview of
the effective presenter – a model for presentation excellence!
Additional building-block topics will include:
• Understanding Effective Group Communication
• 10 Secrets of Effective Communication
• Characteristics of Effective Presentations
• Developing & Organizing Presentation Content
• Body Language, Voice, & Diction
• Dealing with Presentation Butterflies & stage-Fright
• Key Presentation Platform Skills
• Preparing & Using Visual Aids
• Dealing with Unruly Audience Issues
• The Art of Listening & Questioning
• The Persuasive Presentation – A Practical Business Approach
Additionally, participants will also plan, prepare, and present a
