Problem Analysis, Problem Solving, Decision Making, and Planning are
essential skills for managers in any organization. These are the
basic management process skills required for success in any
organization. They are critical to the success of any organization
in the 21st century concerned about the effective application of
management tools and practices that keep the business running
effectively and efficiently! This workshop introduces participants
to specific Management Process Skills including Decision-Making and
Problem-Solving models and processes. The skills presented in this
workshop provide managers with a framework for gathering
information, setting priorities, analyzing situations and
problematic issues, and making effective decisions.
To learn effective approaches to problem-solve and apply
decision-making and consensus models, participants will review
problem-analysis case studies and formulate decisions and
appropriate action steps. Following small group exercises and
discussions, participants will discuss the results led by the
workshop facilitator. Group discussions will highlight how the
management process skills and tools apply to organizational and
management effectiveness and the role of the manager in correctly
applying the tools to better manage organizational issues and
problems.
