The enormous challenges facing today’s business
organizations demand continuous focused leadership and a structured
approach to conceive and implement meaningful positive change at all
levels. Leading Organizational Change In Challenging Times is an
7-hour workshop that provides management and professional employees
an overview of the organizational change process and the tools and
techniques necessary to effectively implement and manage critical
change initiatives. In today’s constantly-changing world, the work
environment, public and private alike, continues to undergo dramatic
change almost every day! Without a thorough understanding of what
organizational change is and how to best conceive, plan, and
successfully implement it, leaders often fail at sustaining
meaningful change that can impact performance, efficiency, and
profitability.
Through interactive discussion and hands-on application exercises,
this workshop guides participants through a structured process of
organizational change and provides specific tools and techniques
that help leaders and their organizations to meet the following key
objectives:
1. Increase understanding of the impact of structured positive
organizational change and its affect on achieving maximum efficiency
and effectiveness in meeting strategic objectives;
2. Examine and apply specific tools and techniques in defining,
planning, implementing, and managing positive organizational change;
3. Understanding the role of management and employees in the
organizational change process;
4. Identify key change actions and begin the process of applying the
organizational change process back on the job.
Upon completion of this workshop, participants will be able to:
• Identify the 4 distinct phases of positive
organizational change and key tools and techniques necessary to
effectively define, plan, implement, and manage change.
• Implement specific on-the-job strategies for leading change
while managing resistance.
• Develop better methods to increase employee involvement and
commitment in change efforts.
• Perform tasks required to ensure successful change
communication & implementation.
• Develop effective plans for evaluation and sustainment of
positive organizational change.
• Be better prepared to recognize and effectively respond to
evolving change requirements.
