The Employer Association Group of the National Industrial Council compiles a National Sales Compensation & Practices Survey each year, and it is available in Florida exclusively through the Employers Association of Florida, Inc.
Over
700 companies from around the country participated in this survey. Over 20 sales occupations were surveyed using six general compensation methods to obtain detailed representation of existing pay practices. The pay practices are:
- Straight salary
- Straight salary + bonus
- Straight salary + commission
- Straight salary + commission + bonus
- Straight commission
- Straight commission + bonus
