You can now develop your own corporate emergency plan using an Emergency Planning Kit developed by one of our associates, Richard E. Moore, Inc. The Kit is compliant with the National Incident Management System now required by the federal government. It includes a workbook and accompanying CD to allow you to customize the emergency plan to suit the specific needs of your organization.
The Workbook includes an introductory section, a sample plan you can use as an outline in developing your own plan, and instructions on what you should add to the sample plan to make it “your own”. There are “annexes” for specific occurrences, such as hurricanes and fires. The included charts and graphs make this kit user-friendly and easy to understand.
The CD contains the sample plan outline with examples of narrative you can use in each section. There are instructions in each section explaining what to include and tips on developing and writing that part of the plan. The instructions can be deleted as you write your own document.
