Calculating Your Dues & Your Return on Investment
Dues Calculation (Sample Only)

For-Profit Dues Rate:  200 employees x $5 per employee = $1,000/annual EAF membership dues. (Dues are calculated by multiplying the number of employees on your payroll in your state by $5 per employee). Minimum investment is $550/yr. and the maximum is capped at $3,000/yr.

Non-Profit Dues are calculated by multiplying the number of employees on your payroll in your state by $2.50 per employee). Minimum investment is $375/yr. and the maximum is capped at $1,500/yr.
Return on Investment (ROI) Calculation
To help you evaluate and justify the dues investment, we have included the "fair market value" for each FREE EAF member publication and service (see list above).

Publications - Members receive over 20 publications (surveys, compliance guides, and newsletters as part of their membership. A $2,900 value.

CCH HR Management Library Online Subscription - Includes unlimited online access to HR resources 24/7, news. Trends, state and federal laws & regulations, and job descriptions and performance evaluations software. If you were to purchase this service only your own, the cost would be over $1,000.

Online Training - The free online training can be calculated by taking the 14 courses multiplied by $60/per course (conservator market cost), which equals $840, and then multiply that by the number of supervisors or employees you feel would be appropriate to take the courses. If you have for example, just 5 employees taking the courses, you have received a $4,200 value.

Safety Streaming Video Library - This service provides EAF members with free access to 150+ safety & health-streaming videos and includes instructor materials.  The value would be $2,000.

Briefings & Webinars - Over 20 free programs are offered each year on timely HR issues. If only one member employee took advantage of half of the programs, the value would be $1,500 (10 x $150 each).

Hotlines - One of the main services members enjoy free is the unlimited access to our HR, Legal, Safety, and Cyber Security hotlines. Most of our members average at least one call a month and the average research time is 1 hour. If you multiply 11 hours of research time by $75/hr. (avg paralegal rate), you have saved an additional $825. If you count just one of the twelve hours as legal hotline time (average) and multiply that hour by $350/hr. (avg. labor attorney rate), you have received an additional savings of $350.
